Quarters support

What Quarters is

Quarters is a private app for roommates: rotations for chores, a weekly cleaning checklist with photo proof, bills that settle themselves, and one chat for the whole house. Each household is invite-only — a join code and a household password, approved by the owner.

Getting help

Something broken, missing, or just confusing? Email iperez2435@gmail.com. We read every message and respond within 24 hours — that includes reports of abusive content or behavior in a household’s chat.

Frequently asked questions

How do I join a household?

Ask your roommate for the join code (looks like RM-XXXXXX) and the household password — you need both. In Quarters, choose “Join a household,” enter your name, the code, and the password, then tap “Request to join.” The household owner approves your request and you’re in. If the code or password doesn’t match, double check with your roommate and try again.

Notifications are off — how do I turn them back on?

Open Quarters and go to the Settings tab. If notifications are off, you’ll see a banner near the top — “Notifications are off” or “Turn on notifications.” Tap it, and Quarters will either prompt you directly or send you to iOS Settings to allow alerts.

You can also do it manually: open iOS Settings → Notifications → Quarters and turn Allow Notifications on. Once that’s on, use Settings → Notification preferences inside Quarters to choose exactly what you’re pinged for.

How do I delete my account?

In Quarters, go to Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account. Confirm on the screen that follows. This permanently removes your account, your membership in any household, the messages you sent, and photos you uploaded — it can’t be undone, so make sure you’re ready before you confirm. If you have an active Quarters Pro subscription, deleting your account doesn’t cancel it — cancel separately in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
